Our beginner kitesurf course is structured in order to encourage your learning in a constant way throughout the duration of the lessons.
The course is divided into 3 modules of 2 hours each to ensure that the student is always focused and expresses the maximum of his potential. In this way the student will never have to take too long lessons.
Our kitesurfing lessons are made only by certified instructors with multiple years of experience, and all students will wear a radio helmet in order to be constantly in touch with the instructor and receive real-time indications.

Beginner Course Details
1° hour - 2° hour
1° hour:
- How to choose correctly the place to practice kitesurfing depending on the wind direction
- Knowing how to identify obstacles and dangers around us and how to avoid accidents
- How to choose the correct size of the kite depending on the intensity of the wind
- Recognize the wind direction and learn the concepts of: Upwind and Downwind
- First approach to materials: nomenclature and description of the components of the equipment
- Arming (mounting) the kite and connecting the lines
- In-depth explanation of the safety systems and simulation of use of each of them
2° hour:
- Learn to identify the correct positioning of the kite when we want to launch and land it
- Introduction of the flight window and its points of reference
- First flight of the kite performing 3 basic exercises that will allow you to lay a solid foundation and will ensure
excellent mastery of sailing during the course - How to relaunch the kite from the water
- Learn to land the kite safely
- Packing down the equipment
3° hour - 4° hour

3° and 4° hour:
- Review of the 3 basic exercises done in the second hour
- Simulation of use of the main safety devices while flying the kite
- Introduction to the body drag (let us drag in the water without the board)
- Body drag upwind with one hand and recovery of the board
- Body drag upwind with the board, after having recovered it
- Learn to put the board and know how to handle the traction of the kite keeping the body and the board in the
correct position to avoid losing the balance in water - Simulation of emergency maneuver called Self Rescue
5° hour - 6° hour

5° and 6° hours:
- After performing a brief review, we put the board on and make the first waterstarts
- Equipped with radio helmet you will be able to communicate in real time with the instructor that remaining always a short distance from you, will be able to correct your posture mistakes and take you to do the first meters on the board in complete safety and on both directions
- At this point you will have about another hour to devote completely to kiting

It’s possible to book single hours of lessons without booking the entire kitesurf course.
Single hours pricing:
- Lesson 1 student – 1 instructor: €60/hour
- Lesson 2 students – 1 instructor: €70/hour
After kitesurf course hours:
- After-single course: €55/hour
- After-course in couple: €63/hour
Each hour of kitesurfing lesson is completely customized according to the student’s abilities and requests.
Rent equipment
ProKite Sardegna ASD offers his members the Duotone & ION Rental service. At the end of your kite course, it will be possible to rent the equipment with the authorization of your instructor, who will analyze the level your reached. Indeed, it’s essential to be independent kiters able to grant the safety for you and for other kiters around you.
Membership
In order to use our services and take part to our activities, it’s necessary to become a member at ProkiteSardegna A.S.D. The card is priced €10.00.
The membership is valid for one year and includes personal insurance and all our services on the spot, for free. Services: Private relaxing area, Showers, Dressing Room, Wi-FI, Equipment washing area, Barbeque area, Private parking and more.
N.B: Our goal is to transmit you our passion and make you become an independent kiter in complete safety. We will not pay attention to the minute of lesson more or less, your satisfaction for us is the greatest success.
At the end of the course you will also be given a card that will indicate the skills you have acquired and which will allow you to rent equipment at other schools or to continue taking lessons anywhere in the world starting from the level you have reached.
